Hmmmm... This all seems suspicious, I wonder if someone is posting under more than just two names here... ...
Same conditions as before, no screenshots, no credibility, just hearsay... If this truly is happening, someone had better damn well get screenshots or I feel anymore topics on this same elusive W/Mo/Me/N, whatever, will be instantly closed by the boards. |

No screen shots because I didnt think this was hacks. I figured it was some ability with ascension, but that does not seem to be the case. If I see it again though, I will def get some screens!!

According to a german forum there is a hack out which allows you to change class and skills during play.
The post I'm referring to on that site was posted yesterday, so the person might just have made an assumption based upon what he read here.. or he might not :-/ Difficult to tell. |

I won't link to it, as it is a hacksite.

I've once had it where I changed secondaries (post ascending) and *still* had some of the skills of the secondary I switched from. I thought it was just wierd, but since the skills I kept weren't really useful for me (Me/Mo kept a few warrior skills), I didn't really care. They *did* disappear once I zoned, though.

Instead, send the link to A.net or something. It might be useful for them.

Probably fake. Since most of the things are held serverside, I think, it would take alot more than a simple program to actually change the data for class choice. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not a programmer or dev, so I have no idea, but it seems to me everything on GW is mostly kept serverside aside from basic map data...
The three places are Seekers [Something I can't remember], Heroes Audience and Destiny Gorge for secondary changing, Now what I want to know is will you get all of your secondary skills back that you lose if you change back to what you were originally? I wouldn't mind trying some other things out, but I fear losing all of my skills that I worked so hard to get... at least permanantly. Last edited by Adaria; May 22, 2005 at 04:33 PM // 16:33.. |

Once you've switched secondaries, all your skills will be unlocked and you can switch back and forth. All it requires is going to the NPC and selecting the "Switch Secondary" option.

Has anyone else saw anything like this over the last two days? I heard that ANet banned a few accounts that were confirmed to be using this type of hack.
I have not noticed any major streaming client patch though, so maybe it was a serverside vulnerabilty that they patched internally? Well, can anyone confirm either way? |
